AJM has been in business for over 19-Years. The policies and practices are
in accordance with California Business Practices and Better Business procedures. Due
to some individuals (there are always these individuals in our Society) that will not be
honest with respect to products, payments, and returns, we have to be very specific and
cautious with regards to our policies.
IN MOST CASES, ALL SALES ARE FINAL, if an exception is made, the following
must be adhered to closely!
Merchandise must be in like new condition, with original cartons, with all
original packing, warranties, instructions and accessories, and a copy of the invoice or
packing slip available.
An RMA number MUST have been given to you in advance of your return by
calling: (510-357-7791 Ext#: 10) and the RMA number must be on your copy of the
invoice or packing slip as well as on the outside of the returning carton(s).
- AJM may refuse a refund or exchange or access a charge for used or incomplete merchandise
returned or exchanged upon certin conditions:
- After
a 30-day period from date of receipt of merchandise (in your
possession for a 30-day period), NO REFUNDS WILL BE CONSIDERED, EVEN IF YOU NEVER OPENED
THE BOX, no exceptons to this.
- ALL
returns or exchanges are subject to inspection and evaluation, any damage will be charged,
in addition to re-stock fees.
- Purchaser
always pays freight and INSURANCE charges back to AJM, (AJM will NOT pay any
freight charges). Any COD's back to us will be refused regardless of disposition, and will
not be covered for any loss or subsequent damage due to the failure of the Customer to
follow RMA instructions.
- An
OPENED BOX fee equal to 15% of the items purchase price will be charged on any opened
item, unless the item is defective AND exchanged for the exact same item. The 15%
open box fee will be assessed at the time of refund or exchange, in addition to an damages
incurred in the use or return of the goods.
- Communication
with AJM can be made by Phone (1+510-357-7791), but if unable to obtain verbal RMA#
Number within 24-hours, you must submit a short letter outlining the problem in writing to
our FAX Machine @ (1+510-357-7793) or E-mail it to us @ sales@ajminc.com
or via: US Postal Service (Return Receipt Requested--will be necessary for proof of
delivery). TO: Returns Officer: AJM (J&J
Paper-Packaging, Inc.) 1664 DELTA COURT HAYWARD, CA 94544-7043 .
- If
you decide to replace the unit(s), items, etc. with another supplier or vendor, and you
have not made reasonable attempts to contact our Company, as outlined above, during normal
West Coast Business Hours (M-F; 8:00am to 5:30pm), you may loose all rights to
return the item(s) or exchange the item(s), and they will be refused at the dock.
- An
RMA Number does NOT guarantee acceptance of an item for refund, return or exchange,
it is only a reference number to track and record the movement of the item(s) in question,
and does not grant you any rights or guarantee you a refund of any kind whatsoever.
- Please
INSURE the items after receiving your RMA# and authority to
return for FULL VALUE, (refer to your invoice). If itmes are lost in
shipment, AJM will have no responsibility for the items whatsoever
- Heat
Sensitive items (i.e.: Shrink bags, shrink rolls, thermal plastics, etc.) will NOT be
accepted for exchange or refund under any circumstances after 30-days from receipt of
goods, no exceptions. SPECIAL NOTE: In SUMMER months, the 10-Day RULE APPLIES.
Heat damaged films or bags will NOT receive a refund.
- Re-Stock fees up to 35% may be assessed if product is accepted for
refund, depending upon condition of the product, packaging, and overall condition of the
container received back. (We highly recommend you take extra care in over boxing the
item to be returned with your RMA Authorization). Damage to the outer container
could void your refund or if container can be replaced, be deducted from your refund (over
and above the re-stock fee applied).
AJM Makes this information available on request. By
placing it on our Web site with a visible link to it, we are assuming that you have full
knowledge of its content before ordering or committing to purchase merchandise from our
Company. We try to be fair and reasonable about our Refund, Repair and Exchange
